The Coronavirus, or COVID-19, shocked the world from the United States to Europe to China. The virus shut down businesses, schools and life as we know it. More prominently, it has cluttered our healthcare system, which has left thousands of people without ventilators, and unfortunately people have lost their lives.
In an effort to combat the virus, the order of “Shelter-In-Place” was suggested across multiple cities including the city of Chicago. Staying inside at home for a month straight is not the easiest thing, and Mayor Lori Lightfoot knows that, but being bored at home can be the difference between life and death for you and others. So Lori wanted to start a campaign to encourage people to Stay Home and Save Lives.
In several short lighthearted PSA videos, Lori wants to show you that no matter what you find yourself doing at home, you too are saving lives.
